I'm an associate professor of Linguistics in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at York University. I am also on the graduate faculty in the Department of Psychology. I direct the Speech and Psycholinguistics Lab at York, where we study the nature of speech processing and its interaction with phonology, perceptual development, and cognition in general.
My research broadly covers topics in speech perception, acoustic phonetics, sound change, and language acquisition.
